The architecture of Hampi was the manifestation of a highly evolved multi-ethnic and multi-religious society. Hindu, Jain, and Islamic architectural influences were freely blended to create works of art that even in modern times may mesmerize the most of us.
Being in Hampi warped my sense of time and transported me to a bygone era.
