Nestled in the Ozark mountains near Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a hidden gem known as Thorncrown Chapel. Architected by E. Fay Jones, an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, it is 48 feet tall with 425 windows and over 6,000 square feet of glass. Chosen 4th on The American Institute of Architects top designs of the 20th century it reflects E. Fay Jones and his mentor Frank Lloyd Wright’s philosophy of designing structures which are in harmony with humanity and its environment.
I did my best to capture the true spirit of this iconic structure. Hope you like it and marvel at the beauty of this “organic” architecture.
