The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, located in Abu Dhabi—the capital city of UAE, is jaw-dropping beautiful. I could meditate here for hours.
Though it looks majestic during daytime, I think it really comes alive when the sun goes down. Its unique lighting system, designed by lightning architects Speirs + Major, reflects the phases of the moon. Beautiful bluish gray clouds are projected in lights onto the external walls and get brighter and darker according to the phase of the moon.
