On a narrow shore of Lake Geneva, between Montreux and Villeneuve, stands Château de Chillon—probably one of the most visited castles in Europe.
One afternoon, I decided to stay back a bit late to watch the sunset from there. However, as evening approached, ominous clouds gathered on the western sky. Soon after it started drizzling and the tourists started leaving. I hung in there as the drizzle turned into a thunderstorm and the heavy rain pierced through my jacket and my skin sending a shiver down my spine.
It was worth the wait … to be left alone.
