There is a saying that life takes us to unexpected places and love brings us home. However, I’ve often found home in unexpected places. Sometime it’s just a floating cloud ignited by the setting sun … or the stillness of a crystal clear lake … or star-spangled vast open skies … or the wildflowers in the mountains! Home can be found anywhere … as long as we have love in our hearts … as long as we live with compassion.
The day we were driving back home from Pondicherry, somewhere in Tamil Nadu, we found this place. We were joyous … we were happy … and it felt like home. We sat in the car and ate delicious brownies and chocolate cakes that we had picked up from Auroville Bakery.
See the world with love and live with compassion. Then … everything will seem beautiful … every place will feel like home.
