One of the most beautiful places in Kolkata is the St. Paul’s Cathedral. I often visit the Anglican cathedral to enjoy the quietness, to reflect, and to be grateful for all that I have.
During my most recent visit, when I sought permission for photography inside the cathedral (you don’t need permission to take photos from the outside), I was told that it’s no more allowed. I was disappointed … but only for a moment … as I inherently believe in the goodness of people. So I tried again—I introduced myself, gave my card, and asked again—this time really nicely, in a charming kind of way. 🙂
And magic happened …
When I came out of the cathedral the sky seemed a lot bluer. It often feels that way when I find peace.
