It's hard to explain what is Dubai unless you actually visit and experience it yourself. On one hand you've the sparkling symbols of human endeavor and pride lined along the Sheikh Zayed Road. And on the other you have vast expanses of one of the harshest deserts that can be humbling for any nomad.
